TrackPeel ("we," "us," or "our") operates the TrackPeel application for iOS, iPadOS, and macOS. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information when you use our application (the "Service").

We are based in Poland and process data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Our core philosophy is "Privacy by Design"—meaning we only collect what is strictly necessary to keep the app running smoothly.

2. On-Device Audio Processing

Your audio files never leave your device:

No Cloud Uploads: We do not store, collect, or process your audio files on any external servers.
On-Device Intelligence: All stem separation and chord recognition are performed locally on your device using on-device Machine Learning.
Total Privacy: We cannot access, listen to, or share the music you process. Your creative projects remain entirely private to you.

3. Information We Collect

We do not collect personal identifiers such as your name, phone number, or IP address. Our data collection is limited to:

3.1 File Access Permissions

To provide its core functionality, TrackPeel requests permission to access your Media Library and/or your Files (via Document Picker). This access is used solely to allow you to select audio tracks for processing within the app. These files are never transmitted to us or any third party.

3.2 Subscriptions and Payments

TrackPeel offers subscriptions. All financial transactions are processed by Apple. We do not have access to your credit card information, billing address, or any other payment-related personal data.

3.3 Crash Reporting and Diagnostics

To improve app stability, we collect anonymous technical data when the app crashes or encounters an error. This includes:

Apple Native Diagnostics: Anonymous reports if you have opted-in to share diagnostics with developers via Apple's system settings.
Firebase Crashlytics (Google): We use this to track errors in real-time. This data is associated with an anonymous installation identifier and cannot be used to identify you personally. It helps us know which device model or OS version is experiencing a bug.

3.4 Support Correspondence

If you contact us via email for support, we will receive your email address and any information you provide so that we can assist you. This is used strictly for support purposes.

4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), we process information based on:

Contractual Necessity: To provide the core functions of the app (e.g., local processing).
Legitimate Interests: To improve app stability and fix technical bugs via anonymous crash reporting.

5. Third-Party Services

We do not sell your data. We use the following service providers for technical maintenance:

Apple App Analytics/Diagnostics: For performance monitoring and distribution.
Google Firebase (Crashlytics): For identifying and fixing software bugs.

6. Your Rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access or delete your data. Because TrackPeel does not require accounts or store your audio files on servers, we typically hold no personal data linked to your identity. If you have sent us an email, you may request that we delete that correspondence at any time.

7. Children's Privacy

TrackPeel does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Since the app performs all processing locally and does not require a user account, it is safe for all ages.
